BaylorBears.com to Break News on National Signing Day

WACO, Texas - As high school football and soccer players across the nation officially choose their colleges on Wednesday, BaylorBears.com will be the first place to get the news on players signing with Baylor.
BaylorBears.com, the official athletic website of Baylor University, will break news of signees before they are announced to the gathering in the Galloway Suites at Floyd Casey Stadium. Information on each signee will be added to the website following each athlete's commitment to the university.
Watch the site all day Wednesday for news on signees for football and soccer as National Signing Day activities commence. Then come back Thursday for head soccer coach George Van Linder's webchat, where he will answer questions about the signing class and the Bears' outlook for 2003. Head football coach Guy Morriss will follow with a webchat on Thursday, Feb. 13. to talk about his program's signees.
The Baylor Bear Foundation will be hosting a gathering all day Wednesday in the Galloway Suites, beginning at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast. Head coaches Tim Hobby (men's golf), Sylvia Ferdon (women's golf) and Glenn Moore (softball) will speak between 10 and 11 a.m.
Pete Rowe will give guided tours of the football weight room, press box, training room and locker room from 11-noon, followed by a hamburger lunch from noon and 1:30 p.m. Between 1:45 and 3 p.m., head coaches Steve Smith (baseball), Clyde Hart (track and field), Brian Hosfeld (volleyball) and Matt Knoll (men's tennis) will join Bear Foundation executive director Doug Smith in speaking to those gathered.
At 3:30, Van Linder will announce his signees to the audience, followed by Morriss at 4 p.m.
