HEAD COACH GLENN MOORE
Glenn Moore is in his third season as head coach at Baylor, coming to Waco after a stellar three-year tenure at Louisiana State. In his first season at Baylor, Moore led the Lady Bears to a 38-22 overall record and a sixth-place, 7-9 mark in the Big 12 Conference. Last season, he guided the Lady Bears to even greater successes with more than 50 team and individual, single-game and single-season school records. Baylor finished 46-18 overall and 10-8 in the Big 12 Conference, establishing school marks for victories in a season, conference victories in a season and highest conference finish (fourth). Moore also led Baylor to a national ranking for the second straight season and two wins over top 10 teams, as many top-10 victories as the Lady Bears had amassed in the previous 16 seasons of the program's existence. Last week, Moore claimed his 100th victory as Baylor's head coach with the Lady Bears 3-0 triumph against Texas Tech. He is now 102-48 (.680) in three seasons at Baylor. Moore has a career record of 241-90 (.728); he posted a 22-17 mark in his first year as a collegiate head coach at William Carey in Mississippi. Moore is 219-71 (.755) at the Division I level.

In that tournament, Baylor posted two wins over Loyola Marymount and split a pair of games with Hawai'i.

LAST TIME OUT ... No. 25 BAYLOR 12, EASTERN MICHIGAN 2
Five Lady Bears had at least two hits, including three by Sarah Caudle, as 25th-ranked Baylor defeated Eastern Michigan 12-2 in five innings last Sunday at the Islander Classic, hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Baylor scored in all five innings and crossed the plate nine times before Eastern Michigan got on the board. Two hits and two EMU errors led to a pair of Lady Bear runs in the top of the first. Caudle started the scoring with the first of two doubles, scoring Kelly Osburn from second. The Lady Bears tacked on four more runs on three hits and two Eagle errors. This time, it was Kim Wilmoth who did most of the damage with a two-run double. Caudle also had an RBI single up the middle. All three Baylor runs in the third came thanks to Kelly Levesque's second home run of the season. Eastern Michigan scratched the scoreboard with a run in the bottom of the third, thanks to a Deanna Wisnieski double. Baylor pushed its lead to 12-1 with two runs in the fourth and another in the fifth. Christie Koester singled with one out in the fifth and later scored on a wild pitch to close the scoring. Caudle matched career highs with three hits and three RBI. Levesque, Wilmoth, Osburn and Harmony Schwethelm had two hits each, and Osburn tied the Baylor record with four runs scored. BIG 12 STATISTICAL RANKINGS
In a reversal of last season, Baylor ranks second in the latest Big 12 Conference statistical rankings (Feb. 25).
