Free Agent Newhouse Signs with Cardinals

Waco, Texas - Reggie Newhouse, Baylor's all-time leading pass receiver, signed a free agent contract with the NFL's Arizona Cardinals Monday after going undrafted this past weekend.
Newhouse finished his BU career with a record 183 catches. He is also second all-time in receiving yards with 2,552, fourth with 15 touchdown receptions and tied for first with 10 100-yard receiving games.
In 2002, the Dallas-native set single-season school marks for receptions (75) and receiving yardage (1,140).
Newhouse's Baylor teammate, DT Ethan Kelley, was picked in the the seventh round of the NFL Draft by the New England Patriots.
