WACO, Texas - The Baylor women's tennis team, ranked No. 32 nationally, continues their highly competitive schedule by hitting the road again to take on No. 4 Georgia and No. 15 Clemson. Of Baylor's 22 matches this season, 18 are against Top 75 teams and 10 are against teams currently ranked 35th or higher.

Head coach Joey Scrivano's Bears will play the Georgia Bulldogs at the Lindsey Hopkins Indoor Tennis Center on Sat., Jan. 31 at 3 p.m. (CST). This will be Georgia's first dual indoor team match of the 2004 season. The Bulldogs opened the season last weekend in a round-robin event playing against N.C. State, Winthrop and Brenau. The Bulldogs posted a perfect record in the tournament, winning all 23 singles and doubles matches over the three-day span.

Baylor and the Clemson Tigers will tangle at Clemson's Hoke Sloan Tennis Center on Sun., Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. (CST). The Bears will be Clemson's second match of the season; they open against the College of Charleston on Saturday.

Baylor, 0-2, opened its 2004 campaign last weekend in Nashville, Tenn., falling to then-12th-ranked Vanderbilt and the fourth-ranked Duke. Since then, Vanderbilt has moved up to No. 6 and Duke is now No. 9.
