James Irwin
1. What's your best Baylor Football memory?
"I would say a couple years back when Nebraska came to play us. We didn't really win the game or even come close but we held our own through the game and they went on to play for the national championship and it's just exciting to play such a good team and see them play."
2. What are your future plans?
"Right now, I'm either going to try to get a job in sports marketing or sports management; and, if I can't do that, I'm going to try to go get my master's degree."
3. Other than football, what will you miss the most about Baylor?
"Probably just the fact that once I'm done here, I'm going to have to start working; and, 9:00-5:00 doesn't sound too appealing."
4. What have you learned from football that you will carry with you into your profession?
"Hard work, discipline and perseverance. Just work hard and you will get what you want some day."
5. Who outside the football program has had the biggest influence on your life?
"Definitely my dad, he's always been there for me. There isn't a single game in my life that he's missed. He's either been a coach or the biggest fan I've got."
6. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
"Hopefully, in Texas raising a family and making a good living."
7. Where do you see the Baylor football program in ten years?
"I think if we continue down the path we are on now, we will be one of the top programs in the nation; and, hopefully they will continue down that path."
Luke Groth
1. What's your best Baylor Football memory?
"My best Baylor football memory is when we beat Colorado last year. It just shows how good we really could be."
2. What are your future plans?
"Sooner or later I'm going back to west Texas just to work and run the family ranch."
3. Other than football, what will you miss the most about Baylor?
"Being in this area; but, mainly my friends is what I'll miss most."
4. What have you learned from football that you will carry with you into your profession?
"You have always got to be tough and work hard at what you do no matter what happens while you are working on it."
5. Who outside the football program has had the biggest influence on your life?
"My father, he played here and he played for the (New York) Jets and I always look for him for support."
6. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
"Definitely back in West Texas."
7. Where do you see the Baylor football program in ten years?
"Hopefully, in ten years we have gone to a couple of bowl games and maybe playing for some national championships."
Aaron Karas
1. What's your best Baylor Football memory?
"Probably beating Kansas and beating Colorado. The Kansas game was the first Big12 game that I ever won and the Colorado game was so good for our school, the way it united everyone. I really enjoyed that moment."
2. What are your future plans?
"Hopefully, starting up some businesses. I've got a few ideas. Also, to have a family and just try to be happy."
3. Other than football, what will you miss the most about Baylor?
"The team atmosphere because we've got some comedians on the team. Mike Boyd, he's hilarious. Just to come in here every day and have a smile on your face. After a win there is nothing like it. Just going in there and being around your teammates."
4. What have you learned from football that you will carry with you into your profession?
"Perseverance, knowing that it's not always going to be a piece of cake but you've got to keep working and if you keep working, it will come to you."
5. Who outside the football program has had the biggest influence on your life?
"Probably my dad, just for the work ethic that he instilled in me and my fiancé, Alexis. Also, for letting me be myself."
6. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
"Probably either in Austin or Dallas, owning some businesses, having a family, and coming back and watching Baylor football."
7. Where do you see the Baylor football program in ten years?
"Hopefully we'll be going forward. We've got to get in some bowl games in the next couple years and start building up our recruitment base. Hopefully, we can start competing in the Big 12."
