What restrictions apply to donations of institutional/autographed memorabilia?
Answer:
The following guidelines apply to donations of institutional/autographed memorabilia:
The item may not be provided to a prospective student-athlete or to the parents of a prospective student-athlete.
The item may not be provided to a high school or to a high school staff member (i.e., coach, athletics director, principal, etc.)
Proceeds from the auction or resale of the item may not directly or indirectly benefit a high school.
Proceeds from the auction or resale of the item must go directly to a charitable, educational (K - 8th grade), or non-profit organization.
