Question:
Is it permissible for a coach or someone affiliated with Baylor University to provide or sell creatine to student-athletes?
Answer:
No. Creatine is on the NCAA's list of muscle-building substances that we may not provide to student-athletes. Also, we are not allowed to sell or arrange for the sale of creatine to student-athletes. The prohibition applies to everyone at the institution, including faculty members who may be conducting research or tests with creatine.
It is permissible to provide student-athletes with information related to creatine but this should be coordinated through your trainer or strength & conditioning coach.
