Baseball to Hold Open House

WACO, Texas - Baylor's baseball team will host an open house and garage sale Saturday, Dec. 4, at Baylor Ballpark from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Members of Baylor's 2005 squad will be on hand along with the Diamond Girls to meet and greet fans. Admission is free to the public.
Fans will be able to tour Baylor Ballpark, which was ranked as the nation's third-best collegiate baseball facility by Baseball America in 2003. Fans also will have the opportunity to purchase authentic team items, including game-worn jerseys from year's.

Baylor, which owns the best Big 12 winning percentage in the league's eight-year history, returns eight of nine starters and 10 of 13 pitchers in 2005. The Bears have made 11 NCAA appearances, including six in the last seven seasons.
The Bears open the 2005 season Feb. 11-13 at the Minute Maid Astros College Classic in Houston. Baylor's home opener is Wednesday, Feb. 15, hosting Texas-Arlington at 6 p.m.
