WACO, Texas - Baylor women's tennis will send off three pairs of players to face action in three different tournaments over the weekend.
Daniela Covello and Zuzana Cerna head to the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships at the University of Michigan, Nov. 4-7 while Klara Zrustova and Zuzana Zemenova head to the West Coast to compete in the Fall Desert Classic in Palm Springs, Calif., Nov. 5-7.
Baylor will also send Iva Mihaylova and Zuzana Krchnakova to Houston for the Houston Invitational Nov. 5-8.
The ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships is the nation's premier collegiate indoor tournament for Division I men and women. Cerna and Covello will compete in the 16-team doubles field with first round action beginning on Thursday, Nov. 4 at 9 a.m.
Results from the tournament can be viewed at www.itatennis.com and semifinal and final matches will be broadcast live on the internet at www.RadioTennis.com.
Play will begin for Mihaylova and Krchnakova on Friday, Nov.5. Results will be posted on the University of Houston website, www.UHcougars.com.
