Suspension Lifted for Baseball's McCormick

WACO, Texas - Sophomore RHP Mark McCormick has been reinstated and his suspension lifted, Baylor baseball head coach Steve Smith announced Wednesday. McCormick, who was 6-2 with a 5.32 ERA last season, was suspended indefinitely Feb. 8 for a violation of team rules.
A native of League City, Texas, McCormick is active immediately and will be available this weekend for the 11th-ranked Bears' three-game series at No. 8 Long Beach State. Friday's first game is set for 8:30 p.m. CST.
