MANHATTAN, Kan. - With temperatures in the mid-40s and steady rain, Baylor baseball head coach Steve Smith and Kansas State head coach Brad Hill agreed upon the postponement of Friday's Big 12 Conference baseball series opener at Tointon Family Stadium. The Bears and the Wildcats will play a noon CDT doubleheader Saturday.
This is Baylor's seventh schedule change due to inclement weather this season. The Bears have lost two conference home games due to rain, meaning Baylor will play five more road games in league play than home games.
Baylor and Kansas State will conclude this series Sunday at 1 p.m.
