The Baylor football team continued preparations for its second major scrimmage of spring practice with a two-hour and 20-minute workout on the Floyd Casey Stadium turf Wednesday afternoon.

"I'm looking to for consistency, good rhythm, to see guys compete (in Thursday's scrimmage) and get after it," second-year Baylor coach Guy Morriss said. "We are a little bit tired right now and we are kind of banged up because we've had a pretty physical week.

"I talked to the guys today about being tired," he added. "We're going to be in ballgames in the fourth quarter and be tired, and we have to learn how to handle that, execute and play hard. That's what I want to see out of them tomorrow."

Thursday's practice, which begins at 1:30 p.m., will mark the Bears fourth consecutive workout of the week and their final one before breaking for the Easter holiday.
