The Baylor men's golf team will tune up for next week's NCAA Central Regional as it competes in the Perry Maxwell Intercollegiate Saturday and Sunday at Dornick Hills Country Club in Ardmore, Okla.
Baylor is coming off a ninth-place showing at the Big 12 Championship April 26-27 in Hutchinson, Kan., where it shot 895 (299-297-299).
The Bears are led by junior Ryan Baca, a two-time All-Big 12 selection, who ranks 55th in the nation with a 72.19 stroke average. Baca finished fifth at the Big 12 Championship, his second straight Top-5 showing and fourth of the season.
The Bears will not have much time off as they head to the NCAA Central Regional hosted by Purdue May 20-22 at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Ind.
