WACO, Texas - On August 14, 13 Baylor student-athletes received their diplomas during commencement ceremonies in the Ferrell Center. This brings the total to 95 for the 2003-2004 school year which is second-highest in Baylor Athletic Department history. In achieving the near-record total, 28 were awarded degrees in December, 54 in May and 13 in August ceremonies. Since the beginning of the Big 12 Conference in 1996, Baylor has led the league in student-athlete graduation four of the eight years, was second three times and third once. Baylor's highest graduation total came in the 2002-2003 academic year when 104 student-athletes received diplomas. Since the NCAA began its annual graduation survey in 1996, Baylor has graduated at least 60 percent of its student-athletes every year. August 2004 Graduates
