Fans Invited To Meet The Bears

WACO, Texas - Baylor football fans are invited to join Bear players and coaches for the annual Meet the Bears Day, Saturday, Aug. 21, at Floyd Casey Stadium. Fans may attend the team's scrimmage from 9:15-11:15 a.m. in Floyd Casey Stadium, tour the Bears' football facilities, including the press box and sky box areas, and sample some of the new concession items that will be served this fall in the stadium from 11:15 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. At 12:30 p.m., Head Coach Guy Morriss and the 2004 Baylor football team will be on hand to greet fans, pose for photographs and sign autographs in the Bears' locker room, which is located in the stadium's north end zone complex at ground level. The first 1,000 fans attending Saturday's event will receive a coupon good for one free concession item and there will be free popcorn for all attendees. Fans will also be able to purchase concession items as well as shop for Baylor Athletics merchandise and apparel at the Bear Essentials Store.
