The Baylor football team worked in shells for two hours on the grass practice fields Thursday morning and has just three practices remaining in fall camp including Friday's final two-a-day session. "We just didn't seem to be focused out there today," said Baylor coach Guy Morriss. "We have to get re-focused and come out tomorrow clean all that stuff up and push through it. "We've got to push through these next (three practices) and then I imagine Monday we'll start backing down and try to polish some things," he added. "We are still moving a lot of people around and really trying to find five guys up front." Nine players missed Thursday's practice including junior offensive lineman Glen Oskin (knee strain), senior defensive end/tight end Luke Groth (back), sophomore defensive tackle Julian Hill (shoulder), sophomore running back Brandon Whitaker (knee strain), sophomore defensive tackle Quincy Jenkins (ankle sprain), sophomore fullback Jonathan Sisk (hamstring), sophomore defensive tackle M.T. Robinson (knee), junior linebacker Tyler Lindstrom (broken hand) and freshman linebacker James Francis Jr. (hip-flexor). "We've got some bumps and bruises, but overall we are in pretty good shape injury-wise with three practices left," Morriss said. "M.T. (Robinson) is the only guy we know for sure probably won't be able to play against UAB, everyone else still has a chance (to play in the opener)." The Bears will hold their final two-a-day work session of fall camp tomorrow, practicing at 9:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. The team will then hold a scrimmage starting at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday ahead of its annual fan appreciation day activities at Floyd Casey Stadium. On Saturday, all fans attending the scrimmage should enter Floyd Casey Stadium through Gate No. 5. Baylor fans attending the 12:30-2 p.m. "Meet the Bears" fan appreciation day activities will be able to enter the Stadium's office complex at ground level.
