With its season-opener at UAB just 10 days away, the Baylor football team went through a two-hour workout in helmets and shoulder pads on the Floyd Casey Stadium practice fields Wednesday afternoon. "It was a pretty good workout, but I think they are getting a little leg-weary," said Baylor coach Guy Morriss. "Overall, it was good. It was really good at the red zone. We did a good job down there offensively." Baylor junior wide receiver Shaun Rochon was held out of the workout with a sore back, but he is expected to return to practice Thursday. The Bears are scheduled to practice daily at 2:30 p.m. through Friday. The team will then workout Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon, before taking Monday off and then settling into its normal game-week routine for the rest of the season. Practice Notes: "Guy Talk," coach Guy Morriss' popular weekly call-in show makes its 2004 debut on Waco's 1660 ESPN Radio on Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. The 60-minute show, hosted by the Voice of the Bears John Morris, will also be carried on the web at www.baylorbears.com and is scheduled to run every Tuesday evening through the end of the football season ... If the Baylor depth chart released last Tuesday holds true to form, the Bears could have at least five first-time starters in sophomore wide receiver Dominique Zeigler, redshirt freshman offensive guard Chris Evans, sophomore offensive tackle Chad Smith, sophomore defensive tackle Klayton Shoals and junior defensive end Montez Murphy.
