With the Baylor football team's 2004 home opener against Texas State just around the corner, there is still time for fans to purchase season tickets for the Bears' six-game home schedule. Season tickets are priced at $135 per seat for all six home games, including the Bears' contests against Texas State (Sept. 11), North Texas (Sept. 25), Missouri (Oct. 9), Iowa State (Oct. 23), Texas A&M (Oct. 30) and Oklahoma (Nov. 20). In addition to the traditional season ticket, which offers a savings of $45 over tickets purchased individually for each game, there are several other ticket plans available for fans to consider purchasing to follow the Bears. A Super Fan ticket package, for seating in sections AA and JJ on the west side of Floyd Casey Stadium, may be purchased for $80 per seat. This package entitles a BU fan to a reserved seat for all six 2004 home games, a savings of nearly 50 percent the price of a regular season ticket, and may be purchased through the first home game, Sept. 11, 2004. A Family package admits a family of four to the North end zone seating area for all six Baylor home games for $200. Each additional family member is $50 for the season, and like the Super Fan package, this option will remain on sale through Sept. 11, 2004. The Flex Pack allows fans to purchase 20 coupons for $340 ($17 per coupon) to be redeemed for any 2004 Baylor home football game. Coupons can be redeemed for one game or split up throughout the season. Coupons for an individual game may be redeemed starting the Monday of game week. The Flex Pack will also be on sale through the Bears' first home game. Group tickets are also available for fans to bring their office staff, church group, the neighborhood or clients. Special packages feature blocks of 25 or more reserved seats (east side) for most home games on an excellent yard-line for $17 per ticket. In addition to discount tickets, groups receive special scoreboard recognition. For information on how to arrange your "Pigskin Party," call 254-710-1000. This offer does not include the Texas A&M or Oklahoma games.
