WACO, Texas - Christian rock artist Steven Curtis Chapman will sing the national anthem prior to the Baylor men's basketball game against No. 25 Oklahoma Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Ferrell Center. Tipoff for the game, which will be telecast live on FSN Southwest, is scheduled for 5 p.m.

A four-time Grammy Award winner who has sold over nine million records, Chapman has two platinum albums, seven gold albums and 41 No. 1 songs to his credit.

Chapman, who has a daughter enrolled at Baylor, was the headliner for the 2004 Curves Hot Air Balloon Concert at Floyd Casey Stadium last September.

Baylor is 7-4, 0-1 on the season and faces Savannah State Thursday at the Ferrell Center before Saturday's contest against Oklahoma.
