Softball Hosts Winter Clinics

The Baylor softball team recently concluded its annual winter clinic with area campers, teaching softball players ranging from 13 to 18 years of age about basic and advanced softball skills and drills.

The clinic, which drew over 130 campers to Getterman Stadium, was hosted by Baylor softball head coach Glenn Moore and provides area softball athletes with a chance to fine-tune their skills before the upcoming season.

The Baylor softball team opens its season on Friday, Feb. 4, when the Lady Bears host the Getterman Classic. Baylor takes the field for the first time at the tournament when the Lady Bears face Louisiana-Monroe at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4.
