WACO, Texas - The No.41 Baylor Women's Tennis Team dropped another match in Georgia today as the No. 13 Bulldogs claimed a 5-2 victory in Athens. The Bears were coming off of a similar to Georgia Tech yesterday where they were also defeated 5-2.

Baylor claimed their two points in singles play when Klara Zrustova battled Georgia's Evgenia Subbotina to finish a hard fought 7-6, 7-6 match. Baylor's Iva Mihaylova also claimed a victory in singles play coming from behind to defeat Kelley Hyndman in a 3-set match 4-6, 6-2,6-2.

The Bulldogs swept the doubles play but the Bears did not go down easily. Baylor's duo of Zuzana Cerna and Daniela Covello fought Caroline Basu and Shadisha Robinson losing 9-7. Zuzana Zemenova and Zrustova also battled hard against Georgia's Hyndman and Subbotina losing 9-8.

The Lady Bears will return to action Saturday, February 12 as they take on the Clemson Tigers in their home opener.
