PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Finishing up Baylor's fall tournament play, Klara Zrustova and Zuzana Krchnakova each played a match this morning in the last day of the Desert Fall Classic. Zrustova was defeated in the singles main draw semifinal round while Krchnakova won a consolation match.

Zrustova played USC's Lindsey Nelson in the semifinals but fell in two matches, 6-2, 6-2. Krchnakova played a consolation match and beat USC's Judy DeVera 6-1, 6-4.

Both girls ended their fall play with winning records, Krchnakova posting a 10-9 and Zrustova a 9-4.

Baylor's women's tennis team will continue its season in January of 2006 with a home-opener against SMU on the 21st.
