Keith Miller, Assistant Athletics Director at the University of Southern California, has been hired as Baylor's new Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance, Director of Athletics Ian McCaw announced Thursday. Miller will begin his duties at Baylor on Jan. 30.
"I am excited that we have lured Keith Miller to Baylor," Baylor Associate Athletics Director for Compliance Kevin Price said. "Keith is a top-notch compliance person who is very well respected nationally. His hiring really underscores Baylor's intent to be the best in all aspects of our athletics program."
Miller has been the Trojans top compliance officer since 2002 and been on staff at the Los Angeles-school since 2001. Prior to joining the USC staff, he worked in the athletics compliance offices at Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Miller earned both his bachelor's degree (1998) and law degree (2000) from Marquette.
During his time at USC, Miller helped guide Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and Carson Palmer through successful Heisman Trophy campaigns. He has served as a liaison to the southern California celebrity fan base, working with such notable Trojan fans as Snoop Dog and Nick Lachey.
With the addition of Miller, the Baylor compliance staff is now comprised of Price; Miller; Monica Love, Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance and Matt Ball, Director of Compliance.
