Rain Cancels Softball Doubleheader

LAS VEGAS, Nev.-Due to heavy rains in the Las Vegas area, the No. 15 Baylor softball team's contests against UC Riverside and Oregon scheduled for today have been cancelled. The games will not be made up and action at the Louisville Desert Classic will resume tomorrow.

Baylor will open play at the tournament on Saturday, Feb. 12, when the Lady Bears will face No. 9 Tennessee at 12:00 p.m. before facing No. 12 Michigan 5:00 p.m.

Baylor enters the contest with the Lady Vols with a record of 8-0, the best start in school history.
