Women's Tennis Cracks Top 25

WACO, Texas - The Baylor women's tennis team advanced 10 spots from its previous ranking of No. 35 to No. 25 in the latest team rankings released today by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
The Bears defeated the previously ranked No. 7 Clemson Tigers,4-0, on February 12 to advance them in the rankings.
This is the Bear's highest position since Joey Scrivano took over as head coach in the fall of 2002. The all-time highest ranking for the Bears came on February 20, 2002 when they earned a ranking of No. 21.
The next national rankings will come out February 22. Individual rankings will also be released February 22.
Baylor returns to action Saturday, February 19 with a 1 p.m. match against Pepperdine at the Baylor Tennis Center.
