Softball at Compass Bank Postponed

Before the Lady Bears take the field, the Compass Bank Invitational will resume at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday when Birmingham-Southern faces Louisiana Tech. The Panthers will then meet Sam Houston State at 11:00 a.m. Due to the rain, the championship round of the tournament, originally scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 27, has been cancelled.
In the only game to be completed on Saturday at the Compass Bank Invitational, Arizona defeated Louisiana Tech 7-0 behind the strength of Alicia Hollowell's no-hitter, her second of the tournament.
