When did you start playing your sport?
Ever since I can remember, like when I was three maybe. I played wiffle ball.

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My parents. They have always been there for me and come to my games.

What is the best part of being a college athlete?
Just playing. It's fun going to school and getting an education while playing baseball.

If you weren't playing the sport you are now, which sport would you want to play?
Football

After meeting coach Smith, what was you first thought?
This is going to be a good program, a fun, good year.

What position would you like to play other than your own?
Any position that will help the team. I'll play anything as long as I'm playing.

What is the most unique item in your locker?
I just have your basic baseball stuff. I have a lot of socks.

Who are your favorite sports heroes?
Derek Jeter. I love the Yankees. He's a great athlete, a winner.

Where is your favorite place to go after a game/event?
Taco Cabana

What is the best venue you have ever played in?
Minutes Maid Park in Houston

What is the highlight of your sports career?
I went to the Junior College World Series twice.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
I have a lot of those but nothing that's funny.

What opposing school do you most look forward to competing against?
Just anyone. I like playing any Big 12 or Texas team.

Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
Great education and the baseball are great.

What has been your favorite class at Baylor?
Blair Browning's Small Group Communication

What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave?
My teammates

Who is your all-time favorite Baylor athlete?
Jason Jennings. He plays for the Rockies, and I'm from Colorado.

Name one television series you won't miss.
Seinfeld

What is one thing you must pack when traveling?
My glove

As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
Work hard and have fun.

What is your favorite fast food?
Wendy's chicken nuggets

What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
My dad had cancer and dealing with that. We're still kind of going through, but he's gotten better.

Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
I'm shy, but once you get to know me, I'm outgoing.

Name one thing you can't go a week without?
Pizza

If you had to perform karaoke, what song would you sing?

What is your dream job?
Baseball player
