Rain Washes Out Day One of Waco Regional

WACO, Texas - Day one of the NCAA Baseball Championship Waco Regional at Baylor Ballpark was postponed Friday due to rain, adding a game to Sunday's schedule and pushing the regional championship game to Monday.
TCU and Stanford will face each other in the opener Saturday at 2 p.m., followed by Baylor against UT-San Antonio at 7 p.m.
The first elimination game will now be played on Sunday at 11 a.m., followed by the winner's bracket game at 2 p.m. The second elimination game will be played at 7 p.m. Sunday.
The regional championship game will be played at 2 p.m. Monday, followed by a second game, if necessary, 45 minutes after the first game.
The decision to postpone the tournament, made jointly by the NCAA office in Indianapolis and the tournament coordinators, was made with the integrity of the tournament and fairness to all participants in mind.
Tickets for Friday's games will be honored Saturday. The TCU-Stanford game is still session one, Baylor-UTSA is session two, etc.
