Baylor Athletics Assisting With Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts

The Baylor University Athletics Department will team with the American Red Cross to assist Hurricane Katrina relief efforts during the Bears' football game on Saturday, Sept. 10 against Samford. A number of Baylor University student groups will take monetary donations at each entrance of Floyd Casey Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

In addition to the football game next Saturday, Baylor University continues to work on a number of responses to Hurricane Katrina and its devastating impact on the Gulf Coast of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. The university has established a special website at www.baylor.edu/katrina to keep students, faculty, staff, alumni and others informed of the latest developments.
