The last match to finish was on court No. 4 where Zrustova fought back after losing her first set. She finished win a 5-7, 6-1, 6-1 win against Uscinski.

"Of course it's nice to get a Big 12 win under your belt. And it's good preparation for our upcoming matches and especially for the Nation Indoor Team Championships coming up in about a week. We need to play matches indoors to get ready for that. We started slow while trying to get used to the different courts, but it was positive that the result ended up the way it did. And I am really proud of Rachel Clark for playing at No. 6 and coming up with a win," said head coach Joey Scrivano.

This afternoon's conference victory earned the Bears a Big 12 record of 1-0 and an overall record of 2-0.

Tomorrow the women's team will match up against Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa at 11 a.m. to play the Hawkeyes. Results from that match will be posted at the conclusion of play at www.baylorbears.com.
