COLUMBUS, Ohio - Baylor women's tennis' Zuzana Cerna competes this weekend at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships hosted by Ohio State University for the second-straight year. This year's event will take place Nov. 2-5, at the Racquet Club of Columbus.

The championship features a 32-player singles field and 16-team doubles field for men and women, including: champions from Wilson/ITA Regional Championships held across the country during October, the ITA National Small College champions, the winners of the Polo Ralph Lauren Men's All-American Tennis Championships and Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships presented by Fila and at-large and wild card selections mad by the ITA National Tournament Committee.

Baylor's Cerna enters the tournament as an at-large selection.

In the first round Cerna is slated against Ohio State's Julie Blackmore. Cerna ranks 14th nationally while Blackmore enters the championship as the host school's wild card participant and is unranked.

In 2005's tournament, Cerna advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Kentucky's Kim Coventry in the round of 32 and the top-seeded Nicole Leimbach from TCU in the round of 16. Cerna then fell to eighth-seeded Theresa Logar from Stanford.

This year's women's round of 32 action will begin Thursday afternoon with Cerna's match beginning no earlier than 1:00 p.m.
