Baylor's women's tennis team closed out its fall season wrapping up play the Palm Spring Doral Desert tournament. Freshman Jessica Zok advanced through the tournament's singles A Draw semifinals while senior
Iva Mihaylova played through the B Draw semifinals.
"I like the way on ladies responded from yesterday's tough losses. We played higher percentage tennis today and our performance showed it," said head coach
Joey Scrivano.
In doubles play,
Lenka Broosova and Zok won their round of 32 match but fell in the round of 16 match.
The California tournament was the last on the Bears fall schedule. The netters return to action in January 2007.
