Question:
What are the parameters for recruiting activities during a dead period?
Answer:
During a dead period it is not permissible to make in-person evaluations or contacts of a prospect either on or off of an institution's campus. Furthermore, official visits or unofficial visits may not occur during a dead period.
It is permissible to make telephone calls and send recruiting material to prospects, in accordance with NCAA rules, during a dead period.
