WACO, Texas - Baylor's No. 15 women's tennis team is coming home from a successful road trip through Missouri and California. The Bears earned two wins and a loss over the week and now look to build momentum as they host four-straight home matches in the next two week. Tomorrow, March 18, Baylor will play Arkansas' No. 62 Lady Razorbacks at the Baylor Tennis Center at 1 p.m. The Bears are 4-14 overall against Arkansas, though Baylor has won the last three meetings.
Baylor enters the match with a solid 12-3 overall record for the season. Four individual Bears appear in the Fila/ITA rankings which were most recently released last week. Sophomore Zuzana Zemenova is the highest ranked for Baylor at No. 13 while junior Zuzana Cerna sits right behind her teammate at No. 14. Senior Daniela Covello also made the list at No. 94. In doubles, the Bears only ranked duo is Cerna and partner Klara Zrustova who have earned the No. 24 spot.
For Arkansas, only two Lady Razorbacks are listed in the rankings, No. 38 Aurelija Miseviciute and No. 45 Ela Kaluder. No doubles teams for Arkansas are ranked.
