See The Lady Bears Off To Albuquerque

The No. 3 seeded Lady Bears will depart from the Waco Regional Airport on Thursday, March 23, for Albuquerque, N.M., and Saturday's Sweet 16 game against No. 2 seeded Maryland in the NCAA Tournament.

A send-off celebration is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at the Waco Regional Airport and will include short speeches by Coach Kim Mulkey-Roberston, Lady Bear student-athletes and Baylor President Dr. John Lilley.

The Lady Bears are appearing in their third consecutive Sweet 16 and will face Maryland on Saturday, March 25, at the University of New Mexico's famous arena, The Pit. The Lady Bears' game against the Terripans will be televised on ESPN beginning 8:00 p.m. (Central).
