WACO, Texas - The Big 12 office released this spring's fourth list of players of the week for men and women's tennis today. Baylor sophomore Zuzana Zemenova won this week's women's honor, her second time this spring.

Zemenova helped the Bears win two matches last week, one against conference foe Oklahoma and the other against No. 13 Georgia Tech. Baylor bested the Sooners 6-1 to remain undefeated in the Big 12 (5-0), and the win over Georgia Tech boosted Baylor's record to 15-3 this spring.

Against Oklahoma, Zemenova defeated Gabby Miller 6-2, 6-2. But it was the Georgia Tech No. 1 singles match up that made Zemenova this week's standout. Baylor's defending singles champion paired against the nation's current top-ranked player, No. 1 Kristi Miller. Zemenova rattled Kristi early and gained momentum the rest of the match as she stumped the Yellow Jacket 6-3, 6-3. With Kristi behind her, Zemenova has now upset three top five players nationally-ranked players.

With the two wins, Zemenova moved her record up to 19-5 overall, 13-5 this spring, 5-0 in conference and 9-5 against ranked opponents.

The Big 12 conference also posted its weekly released which features three Bears at the top of their individual conference positions. Zemenova has the best No. 1 singles record (5-0) in the Big 12. Junior Zuzana Cerna has the best No. 2 singles record (4-0), and junior Klara Zrustova heads up the No. 3 singles list with a 4-0 record as well.

Baylor is ranked ninth nationally and first in conference. The Bears next home match is tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. when 10th-ranked California comes to the Baylor Tennis Center.
