When did you start playing your sport?
I Played baseball until I was 13 year old and started playing softball after that.

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My parents and older brother, they have supported me in all that I do.

What is the best part of being a college athlete?
Playing the game that you love and representing Baylor

Favorite sport other than your own?
Volleyball; I played in high school and love to play whenever I can.

What is your nickname on the team and why?
Ozzy; my last name is Osburn so I guess Ozzy was just kind of adopted.

After meeting Coach Moore, what was you first thought?
I thought that he looks intimidating, because most people are intimidated by him, but to me he seemed like a very genuine and nice person.

If you could play a different position, what would it be?
It is a toss up between shortstop and catcher. But if had had to pick one I would go with catcher.

Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
I actually don't have one.

What is the most unique item in your locker?
A coloring book, it has been a joke ever since I first stared being recruited by coach Lumley. When I was sick he sent me a coloring book and we still joke about how I am better at coloring than him. So now, as a joke, he still gives them to me every once and awhile.

What is the funniest moment from Baylor practice?
That is tough but I think it is when coach Lumley starts to spaz out and starts dancing. Lumley can usually put on a pretty good show around here.

Albert Pujols

What is the highlight of your sports career?
Hitting a walk-off homerun my sophomore year in the ninth inning against OU.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
I don't really have one.

What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
Definitely knee surgery last year; I tore my ACL and it has been a challenge to come back this year after that injury.

What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against ?
UT, A&M, and OU. They are our biggest rivals and it is always fun to beat them.

What is one thing Coach Moore always tells you?
Be a leader on the team, especially as a lead-off hitter. To use his exact words, "be a spark for the team!"

What is your favorite team road trip?
Hawaii

Who is your biggest fan?
My parents, they come to every game.

Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
I choose Baylor mostly for the education and coaches. It was also a chance to be apart of helping to turn the program around and work to become a top team in the conference.

What's the most important thing you've learned as a Baylor athlete?
To really give your best effort all the time on and off the field; you never know if tomorrow will come so it is important to put your best foot forward. Especially after last years knee injury.

I will miss being around the girls and the coaching. It is like a family to me.

I don't have one.

What is one thing you would change about Baylor?
The all around spirit towards athletics; it seems to be getting better but I think that would be what I would change.
