WACO, Texas - The Big 12 office released 2006's women's individual regular-season conference records Tuesday afternoon. In the six singles positions, four Baylor netters posted the best records in their respective slots. Zuzana Cerna, Zuzana Krchnakova, Zuzana Zemenova and Klara Zrustova all topped the charts with impressive marks. This year is the first in which so many players topped their positions for the Bears.

Zemenova topped the No. 1 singles list with a perfect 11-0 record against conference opponents. This marks the second-straight year that Zemenova earned an undefeated conference record. In 2005, she posted a 9-0 mark against Big 12 competitors. Overall this season, Zemenova tallied a 31-6 record.

In the conference's No. 2 singles position, junior Cerna earned an undefeated 10-0 mark placing her atop the chart. Cerna bested all her conference foes but did not play against Iowa State though Baylor went on to win the match. Cerna ended this year with a program-best 45-6 record. The 45 wins posted are the most singles wins in a season by any Baylor Bear.

Zrustova also earned an undefeated conference record when playing in the No. 4 position. Though the junior split her matches between No. 3 and No. 4 this spring, all her conference matches were played at No. 4 where Zrustova picked up 11 wins on her way to a 33-7 year.

Krchnakova rounds out Baylor's lineup at No. 6 where the senior earned the best record in the conference, 9-1. Krchnakova split time this spring playing the No. 5 and No. 6 courts for the Bears and recorded a 32-14 overall mark this season.

Overall in team wins, the Bears went 11-0 against conference foes and claimed both the regular-season and post-season Big 12 titles.
