Golfer Allcorn Claims CPT Championship

EULESS, Texas - Baylor sophomore Bill Allcorn (Abilene, Texas) shot a final-round 73, then birdied the first hole in a playoff to capture the Collegiate Players Tour Championship at the 6,762-yard, par-70 Texas Star Golf Course.

Allcorn finished with a 54-hole total of 1-under par 209, shooting 72 and a course-record 64 in the second round. Redshirt freshman Jeff Gerlich also played well in the tournament, but his final round score was not available.
