Baseball Welcomes Impressive Freshman Class

Included in that group are three student-athletes who were selected out of high school in June's Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft - OF/LHP Aaron Miller of Channelview, Texas (11th Round, Colorado Rockies), 1B/OF Dustin Dickerson of Waco, Texas (15th Round, Washington Nationals), and RHP Kendal Volz of Bulverde, Texas (50th Round, Arizona Diamondbacks).
"There were a lot of people who thought we'd lose a few guys, especially Miller, Dickerson, Volz and Shawn Tolleson," Baylor head coach Steve Smith said. "For all four of those guys to realize the importance of the college experience they'll receive in their time at Baylor says a lot about this university and about our program."
