For the 10th consecutive practice, the Baylor football team drilled in 100-degree weather, as the Bears worked for 2 hours and 15 minutes on the Floyd Casey Stadium practice fields Friday afternoon. Friday's practice began with the mercury at 101.2 degrees.
"The tempo was pretty good, I was pleased with that," said Baylor coach Guy Morriss. "Offensively, we didn't play real smart today. We dropped two many balls, had a couple of bad snaps, some of that stuff that I thought was behind us. I didn't think our focus, especially on offense, was very good today."
The Bears will workout at 9 a.m. on Saturday, then meet with a crew of Big 12 football officials to go over rules changes for the 2006 season. The team will hold a light practice on Sunday afternoon, then take Monday afternoon off.
