Broosova Earns Championship Berth at ITA All-America

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Winning her eighth consecutive match of the season on Tuesday, Baylor's Lenka Broosova earned a berth in the top draw of the Riviera ITA Women's All-America Championship at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

Broosova, ranked No. 54 in the nation, defeated Nevada's Maria Mizyuk, 6-4, 6-1, to join teammate Zuzana Zemenova in the tournament's top draw.

Both athletes will begin singles action in the top draw on Wednesday. Zemenova will face Stanford's Lindsay Burdette while Broosova's top draw opponent has yet to be determined.
