Discuss what you have done during the summer to help prepare you for the upcoming season.

As a team there were a few of us that were here all summer during first and second term and we worked out every day. We lifted and ran and then played pickup games almost every day.

What are your goals for this season?

To improve on what we did last year. We really wanted to get to the Big 12 tournament and play more than one game and ultimately get into the NCAA tournament.

Discuss your role as a leader on the Cross Country team this year.

As a senior my role is to be supportive of my teammates and keep pushing through the struggles that we have. As seniors we all take that really seriously.

What do you see as your team's greatest challenge this season?

Winning games; we did really well with that in the non-conference and we have really struggled to finish games this season.

What is the most positive thing you've seen from your team so far this season?

The fight; we have done a great job of fighting every game and being right there in most of our games.
