WACO, Texas - Baylor women's tennis travels to Forth Worth, Texas, for a midweek match against TCU at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The match will begin with doubles action at 6 p.m.
Baylor leads the series with TCU 4-1 winning matches in 2002, `03, `05 and `06. The last time out in 2006 the then-ranked No. 10 Bears defeated the then-ranked No. 12 Horned Frogs 4-3. TCU earned the doubles point with wins on courts one and three but Baylor dominated singles with victories on courts one, two, three and five.
Baylor enters the match having won its past two, a 7-0 win against Harvard and a 4-1 decision against Ole Miss. On the season the Bears own a 4-4 overall record with four wins and four losses against ranked opponents.
TCU hosts the match Tuesday after also defeating Ole Miss last weekend with a 6-1 final score. The Horned Frogs are 4-3 on the season.
