MADISON, Wis. - Baylor's women's tennis team concluded its run in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, hosted by the University of Wisconsin, Saturday night losing to Miami 6-1 in a quarterfinal play-offs.

The Bears dropped the doubles point with losses on courts one and two. Zuzana Zeenova and Jana Bielikova defeated Caren Seenauth and Gina Sabatino on court three but without reward.

In singles the Bears lost the first three matches to finish on courts two, one, and three. Lenka Broosova fell first on court two 6-0, 6-1 against Miami's Laura Vallverdu. On court one, Zuzana Zemenova surrendered her match to Audra Cohen 6-3, 7-6 (3) and Jesssica Zok was defeated by Audrey Banada 6-3, 6-2 on court three. Miami clinched the match with Banada's win.

Baylor tallied its lone point on court six when Jana Bielikova handed Claudia Wasilewski a 7-5, 6-3 loss on court six, the final court to finish of the match. Zrustova lost to Romy Farah 6-1, 7-6 (4) on court four, and Iva Mihaylova fell to Caren Seenauth 6-2, 6-4.

The Bears end their time in Wisconsin with a season record of 2-3. Baylor's next match is February 16 at Northwestern. Results from the match will be posted at www.baylorbears.com.
