All Baylor fans are invited to attend a Baylor Sports Network event around the state that will feature a member of the Baylor football staff reviewing the Bears' 2007 recruiting class. The six 2007 events will be held in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Fort Worth, Dallas and Tyler.
On Friday, Feb. 9, inside receivers coach and recruiting coordinator Jason Phillips will speak from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Cadillac Grill (1902 Shepherd) in Houston. Cost is $18 per person for a Mexican buffet and drink.
Monday, Feb. 12, defensive coordinator Bill Bradley will be featured speaker at an 11:30 a.m. luncheon at San Antonio's Alamo Café (14250 Highway 281). Cost of the luncheon is $14 per person, including drink.
Quarterbacks coach Wes Phillips will speak in Austin, Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 11:30 a.m. at the Texas Land & Cattle Company (6007 North IH 35). The luncheon is priced at $14 per person for a sliced sirloin or grilled chicken meal, which will also included garlic mashed potatoes, bread and drink.
On Wednesday, Feb., 14, safeties coach Larry Hoefer will speak in Fort Worth at Dos Gringos restaurant (1015 University Drive), starting at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $13 for a Mexican buffet, including drink.
The Baylor Sports Network tour will stop in Dallas on Thursday, Feb. 15, as new cornerbacks coach Clay Jennings will appear at the Texas Land & Cattle Steak House (3130 Lemmon) at 11:30 a.m. The luncheon is priced at $14 per person for a sliced sirloin or grilled chicken meal, which will also included garlic mashed potatoes, bread and drink.
Linebackers coach Gary Kinne will speak in Tyler, Texas, Friday, Feb. 16, starting at 11:30 a.m. at Spring Creek BBQ (5810 South Broadway). Cost of the event is $14 with a barbeque buffet, which includes choice of beef, chicken, ham, turkey or sausage, homemade vegetables, fresh bread, cobbler and a drink.
