1. How does/will playing a non-conference schedule help your team this season? It's good for the team to play outside of the conference because we get to play some of the top teams in the nation. We need to play the top 15 teams in order to be ready for the NCAA Championship in May.
2. How have the freshmen played this season so far? The freshmen did very well in their first match against Rice. They're competitive and they have gotten into the practice and match routine quickly.
3. How were the holidays? I went back to my hometown Prague, in the Czech Republic, for three weeks. I spent a lot of time with my family. I was also working out and participating in three tournaments. I got to practice with my freshman teammate, so we held each other accountable to come back in shape and ready for the season.
4. What do you do on your days off? I usually catch up with school because it's hard to study on trips to away games. Other than that I like to read, watch movies, or go cheer for other Baylor teams.
5. What is the most positive thing you have seen from your team so far this season? We have a great attitude and good relationships among the team. We all also believe in winning the national title this year.
