STILLWATER, Okla. - Baylor's women's team (8-5, 3-1) completed a conference weekend sweep defeating No. 43 Oklahoma State 6-1 Saturday afternoon in Stillwater, Okla. The Bears defeated Oklahoma 7-0 on Friday.

"I like the way we came out in the doubles. We took control of the match right away and kept it going through out the singles," said head coach Joey Scrivano.

Baylor picked up the doubles point by winning all three matches. Zuzana Cerna and Zuzana Chmelarova won their third straigth match with today's 8-5 victory over Yawna Allen and Nataliya Shatkovskaya. No. 54 Lenka Broosova and Klara Zrustova won on court two 8-2 against Lauren Simmons and Iryna Tkechenko. On court three Zuzana Zemenova and Jana Bielikova bested Jennifer Poskitt and Marta Tsivka.

No. 67 Broosova recorded her sixth straight singles win after edging Shatkovskaya 6-1, 6-4 on court four. Broosova is undefeated, 4-0, in conference play having played in all four matches.

Baylor picked up four other singles points to clinch the overall win. No. 38 Zemenova earned her second conference win on court one defeating Tkachenko 6-3, 6-2 and No. 52 Cerna recorded her third conference win after besting Allen 7-5, 6-3 on court two. And finally Mihaylova won on court six 6-3, 6-1 over Poskitt.

Baylor wraps up its eight-match road trip with midweek matches. Pepperdine hosts Baylor March 13 at 1:30 p.m. in Malibu, Calif., and UCLA welcomes Baylor to Los Angeles, Calif., March 14 at 1:30 p.m.
