WACO, Texas - The Baylor football team completed a two-hour workout in helmets and shorts on the Floyd Casey Stadium Practice Field. Thursday afternoon's practice, Baylor's second of the spring, is the first of three straight days of workouts.
Head coach Guy Morriss said the Bears enjoyed their second solid day of practice with special emphasis on the offensive system.
"We are really proud of the amount of recall of our offense from guys since last fall," said Morriss. "That allows us to focus more on detail and adding more parts of our offense rather than having to go over the basics. We plan to use as much practice time as we can so that we can get a closer look at some of our guys."
The Bears will practice in full pads for the first time on Friday at 3:30 p.m before a Saturday morning workout at 9 a.m. Baylor will conclude spring practice on April 14 with the annual Green & Gold game at 1 p.m. at Floyd Casey Stadium.
