TEMPE, Ariz. - The Baylor men's golf team shot a 10-over par 298 to fall to 13th place after two rounds at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational at the Karsten Course.
On Friday, Baylor shot an even-par 288 to place tenth, but dropped three spots after 36 holes. Oregon continues to lead the tournament, shooting 9-under par on the second day to improve to 20-under par through 36 holes. Derek Sipe of Oregon still holds the individual lead, shooting a 6-under score of 66 to move to 13-under par for the tournament.
Wes Williams (Franklin, Tenn.) shot 2-under par on the second day to drop to even par for the tournament, in a tie for 30th. Chase Thomas (Dallas, Texas) carded a 3-over par 75 in the second round to finish in a tie for 45th at 2-over par.
Jeremy Alcorn (Brownwood, Texas) sits in a tie for 52nd at 3-over par after carding a second round 74. Jeremy Frye (Palestine, Texas) and Colton Williams (Jacksboro, Texas) are tied for 79th at 7-over par for the tournament.
